Indigo Time

I had used this image in another painting; " Just a Sliver". From one of my evening hikes; I just love turning a corner and seeing a rock outcropping catching the last golden glow.

The shadows were becoming rich and indigo, which allowed for the use of a beautiful hand made pastel stick, in heavy juicy strokes. So fun!
