Pleasant Path

Visitors to the Boyce Thompson arboretum are greeted with this inviting archway that leads to the collections.

One of my favorite places to paint, there is inspiration around every corner.

This archway is framed with eucalyptus, whose blue grey leaves  contrasts with the greens of  the other trees.

There is a wonderful late morning dappled light, which I love to paint. 

It is a day trip for me, and I always feel so rejuvenated after having made the two hour one way trip. It is like a vacation escape!
